Dear friends and colleagues,

It’s been a rather brutal week in Beijing. Debilitating bronchitis and interminable internet issues have kept this from being a very productive week, so limited commentary in this edition.

Thanks to those who have expressed interest in attending a CPW dinner on the business environment. I’m still trying to get my ducks in a row, but if it happens it will be on Tuesday, April 14. Anyone interested in attending who has not done so already should do so now.

There are still a few places left at the CPW Diplomats Dinner on Wednesday, April 8. If anybody would like to join, please get in touch.

Your comments and feedback are always welcome. Old issues are always available at www.chinapoliticsweekly.com. Sign up or unsubscribe by sending an email to info@chinapoliticsweekly.com.
