June 14 Xi sent a congratulatory message to the African Union Summit being held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

  June 12 Xi spoke at a symposium to celebrate the 110th anniversary of Chen Yun.

 

  June 11 Xi met with Myanmar’s National League for Democracy (NLD) chairperson Aung San Suu Kyi.

 

  June 10 Xi met with the 11th Panchen Lama Bainqen Erdini Qoigyijabu.

 

  June 9 Xi held talks with President of Angola Jose Eduardo dos Santos.

Xi said that China and Africa have always been a community of common interests and destiny that goes through thick and thin together, and it is China’s long-term and firm strategic choice to strengthen unity and cooperation with the African countries.

 

  June 8 Xi sent a message of condolence to Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama over the explosion of a gas station in Accra.

June 15 Li visited the Minister of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the China Nuclear Power Engineering Company.

 

  June 12 Li chaired a meeting of the National Leading Group on Climate Change, Energy Conservation and Emissions Reduction.

Meeting discussed China’s contribution to the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

 

    Attended symposium to commemorate 110th anniversary of Chen Yun.

 

  June 11 Li sent instructions to a national conference on improving food safety.

 

  June 10 Li chaired an executive meeting of the State Council.

Meeting discussed how to optimize government funds; expanding consumer credit; supporting cross-border e-commerce; and assisting rural entrepreneurs.

 

  June 9 Li met with Li Yong, director-general of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

 

    Li met with members of the Global CEO Council.
