Sep 18 Xi met with News Corp Executive Chairman Rupert Murdoch.

 

  Sep 17 Xi met with US delegates attending the 7th China-US business leaders’ and former officials’ dialogue.

 

    Xi sent a congratulatory letter to the annual Beijing Forum on Human Rights.

 

  Sep 16 Xi met with officials of the organizing group and representatives of the troops and artists that took part in the celebrations to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.

 

  Sep 15 Xi chaired a meeting of the Central Leading Group for Deepening Overall Reform.

Meeting passed eight “opinions”, including on instituting a negative list for foreign investment, SOE reform, price reform, development zones in border areas and judicial system reforms.

 

  Sep 14 Xi and Swiss President Simonetta Sommaruga exchanged congratulatory messages to mark the 65th anniversary of Chinese-Swiss diplomatic ties.

 

    Xi held talks with Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.

  Sep 16 Li chaired an executive meeting of the State Council.

The meeting focused on third-party reviews of ongoing reforms, new platforms and modes to promote popular entrepreneurship and innovation, upgrading industries and subsidy systems for the disabled.

 

    Li met with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

 

    Li called to congratulate Malcolm Turnbull on becoming Australia’s Prime Minister.
