Oct 9 Xi sent a congratulatory message to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Workers Party of Korea.

 

  Oct 3 Xi and Singaporean President Tony Tan Keng Yam exchanged congratulatory messages to celebrate the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties.
  Oct 1 Xi celebrated National Day with ethnic minority representatives.

 

    Xi appointed four new ambassadors.

Mongolia, Angola, Ecuador and Samoa.

 

  Sep 30 Xi attended the State Council reception at the Great Hall of the People marking the 66th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

 

    Xi attended a Martyrs’ Day ceremony in Tian’anmen Square.

Oct 10 Li sent instructions to the National Work Conference on Shantytowns.

 

  Oct 9 Li met with Thailand Minister of Foreign Affairs Dan Pramudwinai.

 

  Oct 6 Li sent a letter of congratulations to Nobel Prize in medicine winner Tu Youyou.

 

  Oct 3 Li and Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong exchanged congratulatory messages on the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties.

 

  Oct 1 Li congratulated Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on his re-election as prime minister.

 

  Sep 30 Li chaired an executive meeting of the State Council.

The meeting focused on creating a fair and regulated business environment; building “sponge cities” to improve urban water ecology; and new energy and developing low-emission vehiciles.

 

    Li attended and spoke at the State Council National Day reception.

Yu Zhengsheng Oct 9 Yu presided over the 35th chairpersons’ meeting of the 12th CPPCC National Committee.
  Oct 1 Yu addressed a grand rally marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous region in Urumqi, Xinjiang.

 

    Yu and his delegation returned to Beijing.

 

  Sep 30 Yu met with senior military officers from the Xinjiang Military Area Command, the Xinjiang Division of the Chinese People’s Armed Police and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps in Urumqi, Xinjiang.
